Special Events Committee

The Special Events Committee is essential to the Chapter - producing four major events every year. The committee is very well organized and is always looking for volunteers who enjoy and have experience with event coordination and planning.

The role of this committee is to lead the organization and planning of significant Chapter events such as the Earth Day Gala and annual Membership Meetings. Special Events also produces the Annual Meeting and Summer Social. The committee has worked with Chapter staff to develop green event guidelines and then communicate regularly with the Board and other committees to ensure consistency and adherence to the guidelines.
