Innovation in Green Design Award and the Massachusetts Green Building of the Year Award
The Innovation in Green Design Award was started in 2008 as a way to recognize the most innovative green buildings and products in Massachusetts. Past winners have showed ingenuity, replicability, and scored well on the triple bottom line, an important concept in sustainability that considers the building’s overall impact on economic prosperity, environmental quality, and social equity.

There are three award categories this year:
Each year in early April, USGBC MA collects the award submissions. The project board submissions are displayed at the Chapter's Annual Earth Day Party and the awards are presented at this event. The date of this year’s Annual Earth Day Party is April 10th, 2013, 5:30-9pm at Two International Place, 100 Oliver St in Boston.

What is the submission deadline?
All submissions are due Friday, March 29th at 5pm.
Innovation in Green Design submission should be dropped off or mailed to the USGBC MA Offices (Attn: Grey Lee at Space with a Soul - 281 Summer Street, 5th Floor, Boston MA 02210).
Massachusetts Green Building of the Year submissions should be emailed to: Paul Brown pbrown@vfa.com.
